Jams Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy describes the Jams iOS app and its public music-streaming service, operated by Playable Future LLC for the James Pollack music archive.

2. Information the app handles

Jams does not require an account and does not include advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. The app does not collect names, email addresses, contacts, precise location, payment data, or identifiers for cross-app tracking.

Catalog data, playback state, settings, and cached media are stored locally on your device so the player can work reliably. You can remove this local data by deleting the app.

3. Streaming requests

When you stream music or refresh the catalog, our hosting and delivery infrastructure necessarily receives standard request information such as the requested file, time, IP address, and basic device or network headers. We use this information only to deliver media, maintain reliability, enforce reasonable rate limits, and protect the service from abuse. We do not sell it or use it to build advertising profiles.

4. Sharing and retention

Operational request data may be processed by service providers that host or deliver the catalog and audio on our behalf. We do not sell personal information. Operational records are retained only as needed for service reliability, security, legal compliance, and abuse prevention.

Apple separately processes App Store, TestFlight, device, and purchase information under Apple's own privacy policies.

5. Your choices

You may stop network activity by closing or deleting the app. For a privacy question or a request concerning information associated with your use of the service, email [email protected].

6. Updates and other terms

We may update this policy as the app changes. The current revision date will appear above. Music ownership, licensing, and permitted use are covered by the Terms, Licensing, and Rights.
